Every model carries the same 10.1" touchscreen, so anyone who can drive one can drive all of them.
Who the DX 4700 Series is for
The 4700 is the generation before the 4900 and shares almost everything with it: the same 10.1" touchscreen, the same scanning speed, the same paper and finishing options. The 4725i, 4735i, 4745i and 4751i run at 25, 35, 45 and 51 pages per minute, which gives this series the widest range in the DX line.
It is a very common machine in Chicagoland offices. If you are already running one and want a second, or you want a proven mono workhorse that we can place quickly and support without question, the 4700 is a good fit.
What is on the machine
- A3 output: letter, legal and 11×17.
- Single-pass duplex scanning at up to 270 images per minute.
- 10.1" color touchscreen with scan-to-email, scan-to-folder and scan-to-cloud.
- Mobile printing over AirPrint and Mopria.
- Paper capacity expandable to 6,350 sheets, with media up to 140 lb index. Optional stapling, hole-punch and booklet finishers.
- Encrypted storage and user authentication. EPEAT certified on select models.
Leasing or buying this series
The 4700 leases on exactly the same terms as our current machines: a flat monthly rate with unlimited toner, all parts and labor, installation and training, and no long-term contract. We size the model to your volume and review it with you every year. The only thing outside the rate is a one-time delivery fee, shown on your proposal and billed on your first invoice. You can also buy it outright. Ask for a quote and we will tell you whether a 4700 or a 4900 makes more sense for what you print.
