Field Service Technician

Part-time · Chicagoland

Service calls on Canon copiers in customer offices across Chicagoland. Calls come to you through our service app; you drive to the site, fix the machine, and log what you did.

What you would do

  • Service calls only. No deliveries, no installs.
  • Jams, image quality, error codes, worn parts, scan-to-email and network settings.
  • Print driver setup on both Windows PCs and Macs.
  • Your own vehicle. Mileage is paid.
  • Calls, notes and parts are all handled in our service app.

What we are looking for

  • Direct experience servicing Canon copiers, imageRUNNER ADVANCE in particular. We do not train.
  • Comfortable installing and troubleshooting print drivers on PCs and Macs.
  • Clean driving record and a reliable vehicle.

Social Media

Contract · Remote · Your own hours

Run our social media across the platforms, on your own terms and your own schedule. We have twenty years of real customers, machines and stories; you turn them into posts that reach Chicagoland businesses.

What you would do

  • Plan, write and publish across the platforms that matter for a B2B service business.
  • Track what gets a response and report it in plain numbers.
  • Flag anything that looks like a lead to us the same day.

What we are looking for

  • You have grown accounts for a business before and can show the results.
  • You can write plainly for office managers and business owners.
  • You work independently. Send a résumé or a link to work you have done.

Outside Sales

Commission-only, or base plus commission depending on experience · Chicagoland

Put our flat-rate, no-contract copier program in front of Chicagoland businesses that are paying too much under a long-term lease.

What you would do

  • Find and visit businesses across the Chicagoland counties we serve.
  • Show a prospect what their current volume costs on our rate.
  • Hand off a qualified opportunity and stay with it through the proposal.
  • Set your own territory, hours and pace.

What we are looking for

  • General sales experience. Business-to-business is a plus; copiers are not required.
  • Comfortable on commission. Base plus commission is on the table with a track record.
  • A car, a phone and your own Chicagoland network.
